The club was founded in 1983 and commenced playing on this site in May 1984. In our first season we played a Hertfordshire Presidents team and in 1985 we were honoured to host a match with the English Bowling Association, a first for a new club to achieve such an honour so early in its existence.

The club has achieved great success in its short life in County and Letchworth & District competitions. Full details are available on our Honours page.

In 1989 the club was honoured to provide the County President for that year, namely John Worsdale.

We again played host to the County Presidents team in 2004 in celebration of our 20^th year.

We also pride ourselves in our very strong Junior section which currently numbers six ranging in age from 10 to 16.

We look forward to further success in 2005.
