The Whit Hern Annual Presentation Dinner Dance held on Friday 25th November at the Halsey Hall, Cheshunt, was attended by a record number of members, their families and friends.

The trophies for the club competitions were presented by the Men’s & Ladies Captains and the Whit Hern President Alan Huxtable who said that it was a terrific evening and he was pleased to see so many newer bowlers winning trophies this year.

Tony Marriott was M. C. the meal and presentation were followed by dancing to Classic Nights Disco .

Following are the winners and runners up of the club competitions this year. Photographs are included in attachments of many of the award winners.

The club competition winners were (runner up in brackets):

Men’s Champion: Kevin Norman (Andy Georgiou); Men’s Handicap: Steve Kenway ( Michael Knights ); Men’s Pairs: Alan Huxtable & Giuseppe Noto ( Lionel Bannister & Robert Jones); Ladies Champion: Trish Walton (Rosemary Noto); Ladies Pairs: Sylvia Jeeves & Maureen Peel (Marion Beck & Vera Milson);
 
Heron Trophy: Michael Humeniuk; ( Irene Lack)  Fixed Jack: Andy Georgiou (Carole Cook); Two Wood Singles: Steve Kenway (Stan Cook);
 
Len Wilkinson Triples: Peter Jeeves, Michael Knights &Vera Milson (Jean Corbett, Maurice Cullum & Robert Jones); Mixed Pairs: Stan Cook & Jean Corbett (Irene Lack & Kevin Norman); Carlyle Trophy: Pat Boltwood (Robert Jones);
 
Ladies Invitation: Marion Beck & Kevin Norman; September Pairs: Dave Rundall & Ian Wood.

A special mention and congratulations were made to Kevin & Carol Norman who won the East Herts Association Mixed Pairs Competition this year.

Also the Ladies who once again won the Parker Trophy along with the Whit Hern Blues team for being promoted to the First Division of the East Herts League.
