Hemyock Bowling Club was founded in 1905 and is one of the oldest clubs in the area. We are a friendly village club and operate outdoors from mid-April to mid-September. We also operate several winter teams at host Indoor Clubs in Tiverton, Honiton, Taunton and Wellington. |

At present we have about 60 members and are always happy to see new people coming along. Both experienced or completely new to the game are welcomed. Although we are a relatively small village club we have a good core membership and draw people from several miles around. |
Visiting or touring teams are always welcome by prior arrangement. Being just 6 miles south of Junction 26 on the M5 we are well placed for an enroute visit by clubs who are touring other regions in the Southwest. There is a well appointed traditional Pub in the village who can usually provide excellent meals at reasonable rates by prior arrangement. Alternatively if you are holidaying in the area you are very welcome to come in for a roll up. |

Next year we will be celebrating our Anniversary and already have several special matches arranged to mark this event. We have a flourishing fixtures lists with a good balance between mixed friendly games as well as league games for men and women against neighbouring teams in the Tiverton/ Cullompton area. Thus there is ample opportunity for all levels of bowler to enjoy active membership of our Club. |
