Saturday 8th April- Opening Day
The
green was opened by President Jim Gilchrist in a brief glimpse of sunshine and a
short game was played. Margaret Gilchrist threw the first jack of the season in
fine style, in spite of expert coaching by Past president Jim Cuthbertson!
Ladies Section opening-Wednesday 12th April
Unfortunately,
the day was wet so the opening ceremony took place
indoors!
President Mima Hylands is shown with committee and guests just before the
opening.
