Open Triples Competition- 23rd July 2005
The
competition was held in fine weather this year with five 'home' triples
competing with 12 visiting teams. We are grateful to Reg
Vardy of Springburn Fiat for providing sponsorship this year and Mhairi
Keegan, Service Manager, presented the cheque to President Jim Cuthbertson.
Members are entitled to some privileges and offers and should contact the
Secretary for details, as they and the club can benefit from this association
with our new sponsor.
Play
took place throughout the day, and two Bearsden sides reached the semi final
stage. Robin Neill's team was finally defeated in the Final by a good team
from Singer 1980. President Jim Cuthbertson presented the prizes to Bobby
Totten (skip), accompanied by Alan Stevenson and James Kelso.
